Phil Spector sentenced to 19 years to life

Phil Spector was sentenced today to 19 years to life for the murder of Lana Clarkson in 2003.  Spector was found guilty of 2nd degree murder in the 2003 shooting.  Spector maintains his innocence and the story that Lana committed suicide.  But other witnesses came forward to testify about his treatment of women and the use of guns.  The wrongful death case went on for a couple of years and many are very happy that Spector is behind bars for what will likely be the rest of his life.  He’s 69 now and will be 88 before he’s even elgible for parole.
