Judge says Vytorin Forum postings can stay

A judge presiding over a Vytorin lawsuit in which Schering-Plough executives are accused of withholding information regarding the failure of an important clinical trial, has decided that incriminating comments posted on an online message board can be included in the lawsuit.

The lawsuit was filed by investors in the company.

The Dow Jones newswire is reporting comments on the board to include:

“He says that the study is a bust” was one post revealed by a poster who said he had a ‘buddy’ in the company.

“Heard it crashed and burned” was another post referencing the study.

“Adding Zetia to high dose generic statin provides no real benefit” was yet another post.
